How do I make a call?
1. Choose your destination
2. Dial the access number for your destination
3. Then dial your full international number…..That’s it!
If you do not have a BT line, and cannot get through, you may need to dial 1280 before the access number or contact your service provider
Use Nitro Telecom's new service from any phone including mobiles
How am I charged for the call?
You are charged per second by your service provider (eg BT). So for
example, if you make a 5 minute call to Australia, you will see a call
on your next BT bill to our access number (for Australia 0844901 4200)
charged at 20p (i.e 4p X 5mins). There is no additional charge by Nitro
Telecoms
What if I call from a mobile?
You can use the Nitro Telecoms International service from your mobile
phone to make huge international call savings, and even on calls to
other mobiles. For example calls to Orange from any network costs just
10p, and this could cost between 35p and 50p on standard mobile tariffs.
With some mobile tariffs UK National (0870/ 0871) calls are bundled
with your free minutes package - and some service providers even bundle
0844 calls.
Check rates with your mobile service provider before making your calls.
When you call from a mobile, remember to press the call or send button
only after dialing the access number - not again after dialing the destination
number. To find out the cost of calling from a UK mobile, you should
confirm the rates directly with your service provider as these may vary.
